Hey slavery!

I knew that there existed people, mainly women being flown into Canada and kept captive and abused as house domestics, but I didn’t know it was termed slavery. Now I know. Slavery still exists. Modern slavery.

There are probably slaves in Montreal. As the director of the movie ”I am slave”, Gabriel had said, this happens in developed cities, as ours.

Imagine having to leave your husband/wife and kids to go to another country to flee poverty and being treated poorly, even being caged in a home as a servant, being threatened to not contact your own family again, being psychologically damaged until you surrender to being an inferior being.
